Various Scheme Under SMES

Our first priority is the wellbeing of our girl students and it is our mission to extend qualitative educational facilities to students from marginalized sections of society. Keeping this in mind, a Student Welfare Committee has been instituted to oversee student welfare projects, and select deserving candidates who are facing dire financial problems. We are deeply indebted to the following donors who have extended wholehearted support:
  • Shri Ajay Sheth of the Quest Foundation for sponsoring Rs. 55 lakhs as freeships to students for the last three years.
  • Ms. Kokila A. Modi for sponsoring Rs. 15 lakhs towards freeships to students in memory of her daughter Late Ms. Ranna Ashok Modi
  • Smt. Parmeshwari Devi Gordhandas Garodia Freeship fund for their donation of Rs. 25 lakhs, and to the Smt Manglaben Jaswantlal Shah Freeship fund for their donation of Rs. 5 lakh.
We have extended financial support to 252 students in the academic year 2020-2021. Rs. 3.9 lakhs received from various donors Has been used for this purpose.

Only a healthy student can focus 100% on her studies. We therefore believe that a healthy mind and a healthy body are essential for students to perform to their maximum potential. We have been able to initiate an innovative project of supplying nutritious khichadi at a very nominal and affordable rate for which we are indebted to our well-wishers M/s. Crescent Organics Pvt. Ltd. & Dr. Sudhanshu Bhattacharya for donations
of Rs. 5,00,000/- each. They have helped in ensuring that needy students have access to a well-balanced meal

SAS Institute [India] Pvt. Ltd under their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative has contributed Rs. 53 lakhs in order to convert twelve classrooms to SMART classrooms and to initiate skill-based training programs.

The ‘Smt. Kamlaben Gambhirchand Shah Staff Welfare Fund’ has been instituted to
meet, either in part or in full, financial needs of Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff
members, under defined heads as mentioned below:
1. Financial help to the employees for going abroad for self-development/for
presenting a paper in technical conferences/workshops/seminars etc.
2. To encourage the staff of Polytechnic /Jr. College to take up the research projects.
3. Financial help for medical treatment.
