The Department of Textile Science and Fashion Design is immensely proud to share that Ms. Tanisha Rathod (Batch 2025–2026 NEP First Batch),has successfully launched her own fashion startup, "Taga.",Tanisha has introduced a thoughtfully curated collection of pants and palazzos, designed by her and crafted using traditional Indian Kalamkari printed fabrics.

The 69th foundation day of the Seva mandal education society was celebrated on 1st August 2026. Oath taking ceremony for the student body was held and office bearers were Felicitated. industry experts were Felicitated keeping with the best practice of promoting Industry-Academic interaction. Teacher's Day Celebration on 5th September and we feel very proud to announce that Ms. Neetu Singhi has been selected to receive the Well-Being Award at the upcoming 3rd edition of the Annual Global Awards by the Centre of Assessments for Excellence.

Only three nursing colleges were invited from 100 institutions for the Silver Jubilee Celebration of MUHS on June 9, and our college was one of them. Our college was also invited to present their three winning performances of folk dance, Indian and western group singing.

Interclass Cookery contest using Microgreens was organized completely by SYBA students. Mrs. Vinaya and Dr. Harsha were invited as judges for the competition. Leena ma'am encouraged students to come up with new ideas and spread Nutrition awareness.

On the ocassion of NSS Day NSS unit along with Leo Club of Smt. MMP Shah has distributed Clothes at Wadala gate no. 4 slum area and also organised Rally to spread awareness about 'Say No to plastic ' by holding poster and slogan. Total = 13 volunteers and Alumni 5 attended above program.

S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai secured the 2nd place in Pool 'A' with 3 wins and 1 loss in the "Ashwamedh" - 25th Maharashtra State Inter University Kreeda Mahotsav Girls Team Chess Championship.

In the Under-19 Girls category, Shreya Chavan (Com XII/F 1002) secured 1st place in weightlifting and is now selected for the Division round. Congratulations to Shreya, the Sports Department, and thanks to SMES management and the Rotarians for their support!
